OUR POSTERS FOR PEACE
On the School Day of Peace we have decorated our English Corner with Nelson Mandela pictures and information about his biography in the three languages our kids study: English, Spanish and French. Last year we paid tribute to other important people who have worked for peace and their quotes. The school year 2011/12 we decorated our corner with peace-related words and symbols.

ABRACADABRA on photopeach
Hi, kids! On Thursday 23rd we will see a play in English in our school . Its title is "Abracadabra". The theatre company Face2Face will visit us to perform this story about Harriet Potter, the disastrous little sister of a very famous magician. Unlike her brother , Harriet is not a good witch... in fact she´s the worst witch in the whole school. She can´t fly, her spells are dangerous and her homeworks are always late. I hope you enjoy it!

MEG AND OWL´S BIRTHDAY
Meg and Mog are the heroes of a series of children's books written by Helen Nicoll . The books are about Meg, a witch whose spells always seem to go wrong, her striped cat Mog, and their friend Owl.
In this episode the owl is a bit upset because he thinks Meg and Mog have forgotten his birthday. I have chosen this chapter because this is the topic we are working in year 3. So I hope you refresh your vocabulary and you also enjoy the video.
