BENEFITS OF RIDING A BIKE on photopeach

Every June 5th is World Environment Day and this year we are going to dedicate this special  day to a  very healthy way of transport for short trips, the bike. Riding a bike has  lots of enviromental benefits and saves money. But, what other benefits do you know? Here´s my photopeach with some benefits of using a bike.

In our Cross-Curricular lesson we´ve been learning about a very interesting topic; "different types of homes around the world". We´ve seen  a house in Britain, a flat in Japan, a log cabin in Canada or a ger in Mongolia . In this video we´ll see some typical British homes and some unusual ones.

FAIRY TALES TEST on photopeach

April 23 is a special day . It´s World Book Day. It is a celebration created in 1995 by UNESCO . It´s a world tribute to books and authors who have contributed to encourage reading and to discover the pleasure of reading.

EASTER TEST on photopeach

Easter is coming soon! Easter is an important Christian festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There are many customs for celebrating Easter in Britain, such as: painting eggs, giving Easter eggs to friends and family and have Easter egg hunts with eggs hidden by the Easter bunny. MY DAD by learn english kids

Father´s Day is a day of commemoration and celebration of Dad. it is a day to honor your father. Father´s Day is celebrated in US in June. Other Countries celebrate this day throughout the year. In Spain it is celebrated on March, 19th. To commemorate this special day, my pupils are going to describe their dads ( clothes and abilities in year 3, routines in year 4). This blog post is a very useful guide for this task.

A TEST ABOUT THE LEPRECHAUNS

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here. It is on March, 17th. And this year we are going to dedicate this special day to the leprechauns, one of the symbols of  St. Patrick´s Day. A leprechaun is an Irish fairy, a tiny old man, about 2 feet tall, dressed like a shoemaker. But what else do you know about the leprechauns?
