Hi, again, 3rd graders! As we´ve been learning in our cross -curricular lesson today, the orquestra is a group of musicians playing different musical instruments and it is divided into different sections or families according to type of instruments: percussion, wind, string and brass. This video is a good tool to review this cross-curricular theme.
Here is the magical musical world of Melody Street, where musical instruments come alive. Meet Ethan and all his friends: the violin, the flute, the trumpet the horn and so on.
The best way to learn the musical instruments is through images and sounds. This video by Roberta Lombardi is a good example of this way of learning.Thank you for sharing on you tube, Roberta.
Let´s move and let´s play the musical instruments with this action song by Learning Station.

Hi, kids! We are lucky! On Monday 16th we go to the theatre! Face2face theatre company will visit us to perform the show "Robin Hood". It is recommended that students be prepared before attending the show as it will increase their motivation, understanding and enjoyment. That´s why we´ll be working on this play during the week with some activities designed by Face2face, and also with these videos I have created to help you for the show: two videos with the main songs of the show, one video to meet the characters and another to get contact with the story. I hope you enjoy them!

Hi, 3r graders! Do you remember our interesting cross curricular lesson? It was about history, exactly about castles and their typical defences: high towers, thick walls, bridges, small windows, moats and so on. Here´s a video where you can see more examples of castles. All of them are in England. I hope you enjoy the video. The music is also really nice.
Here is a video with one of the castles we have seen in our lesson today : "Sully-sur-Loire Castle". It´s in France and it´s got 600 years old. It´s got a bridge and a moat with water on it. It´s got four very high towers and small windows.
