Hi, 4th graders! As we are working in a thematic unit about transport , this video is really interesting. It is about Public Transport in London.
London has one of the largest urban transport networks in the world, that includes buses, taxis, local trains, underground, trams, boats along the river Thames and so on. See all of them in this video.
Lots of interesting teaching resources for the English lesson in this webpage. Choose the topic about transports, the thematic unit we are working now, and play the labelling game. Drag and drop the names of the types of transport on to the picture.

Easter is coming soon! Easter is the most important religious event for Christians. They celebrate the resurection of Jesus, three days after his crucifixion. But in Britain there are many people who celebrate this holiday, focusing on ancient customs and traditions and welcoming spring, such as: painting eggs, giving Easter eggs to friends and family and have Easter egg hunts with eggs hidden by the Easter bunny. But what else do you know about this festival? Try this test I have created with photopeach. The posters are from the DLTK page. Remember, you´ve got only 5 seconds to answer the questions.
Hot cross buns is a traditional snack on Easter. It´s a kind of bread and each bun has a cross that symbolizes the crucifixion of Jesus. You can eat them cold or hot with butter. Here is a pair of videos with a traditional Nursery Rhyme about these hot cross buns.
